Plates sensitive to the state of the planet

The idea of writing out some personal thoughts on plates came from an
Identity plate that was used by the Portuguese military forces during the colonial War. On this plate, was the soldier ‘s name and number was symmetrically wrought and it had a perforated line running in the middle of it so it could be easily separated if the soldier died and half sent to his family.

In this project, I used this symbology of this plate to describe my thoughts related to events that take place around us, such as war , freedom or lack of freedom, advertising, obsession with shopping, brands and image, and globalization.

These words give rise to opposite messages ,puns, and serious jokes. The plates make up a numismatic set or series, in which the idea of collection clashes with the messages written on them. One or more plates and use them on a ribbon as a medal.
